The Byron Chronicles – A Year In The Life: Episode 6 – Dark Alliances — 7 Comments

  1. Haha! Love the broken door thing. It’s like the door in Byron’s Tale, but a lot older.

Also, I don’t know if it’s intentional, but I’ve noticed that some bits of dialog seem to be reused sometimes.

    “Didn’t I tell/command you…”
“Yes… yes you did say that.”

“I’ve heard of you. The one who…”

    Etc.

Not bad, just something that got my attention.

This is an awesome episode as always, and it’ll be interesting to see how Byron gets out of this… if he does.

  2. Hi everyone. I’ve been listening to the Byron Chronicles and I’m hooked up. Coming from Leviathan Chronicles I absolutely loved the cross-references between the two.
One point though, I started listening to the podcasts in their versioned order. Upon reaching episode 4.04 I got a little lost in how episodes link to one another.
Looking back I see that some episodes of season 4 were released longer before season 1,2 and 3. Are you supposed to listen to the episodes in chronological release order or the chapter numbering?
On the same note, how does season 5 and the “A Year in the Life” fit with the rest?
    Many thanks

  3. Still loving this story, but when did the music and sound effects become more important than being able to hear the dialogue? The older stuff was much better balanced. =/
